International Student Identity Card Association

The ISIC Association is an international, not-for-profit membership association of the International Student Travel Confederation (ISTC). Member organisations are the world's leaders in developing specialised student and youth travel products and services.

The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is the primary product offered by the Association. ISIC is the only internationally recognised proof of full-time student status and provides cardholders access to worldwide benefits and services. There are more than 4.5 million cardholders annually.

For those who are no longer a student but under 26, or who are full-time teacher or professors, the ISIC Association also administers the International Youth Travel Card (IYTC) and the International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC). Both cards offer similar benefits, services and savings as the ISIC.

ISIC and UNESCO

The ISIC Association and the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) maintain a relationship that reflects the common belief in travel as a means to promote international understanding. In recognition of shared goals and values, UNESCO endorses the ISIC and the UNESCO logo is included on the card, symbolising a commitment to furthering international understanding and cultural awareness for youth and students.
